The Philosopher
What is love?
Love is often not easy.
That’s what makes it love.
Mary Davidson
The Picture of Someone
Don’t look at the picture of someone.
Don’t look at the outside.
Wait until you meet them.
Take time to see what they’re like.
Take a true person along with you
And they’ll help you to know.
Agnes Weldon
Definitions
Inspiration is something that comes on you.
Something you’ve not done before, but you’re
going to try. Something you’ve never thought of
before. Like doing this writing.
Memory is when you remember seeing two magpies.
You’re going back in time, to something you’ve seen.
If you look out the window today and there’s only
one magpie, that’s time. Time has moved on.
What you’re seeing is now.
Dementia is forgetting. I know the old words for it.
It’s wear and tear. When a person has dementia
they take time. They need you to give them time.
